Jesus is THE Way

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “Thomas said to Him, ‘Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?’ Jesus answered, “I am the way and they truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:5-6)
  Passage:Psalm 119:105-112 

        GPS is an amazing tool provided that you trust it and follow the directions. I’ve had more than one time when I decided that I knew a better way to get to a destination than what I was given by the GPS, only to find out after driving around that I was on a wrong road going the wrong way. King Solomon observed that “God has set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Everyone has a sense that there must be a place we call heaven, but the question then comes. How do we get there?
        The world suggests all roads lead to heaven and that there is not just one way to God. That’s why the world rejects Jesus. He didn’t claim to be a way, or one way among many ways to get to heaven. He claimed to be THE way. He also claimed that no one could get to heaven by any work he did. The only way is to believe in Jesus and confess Him as Lord. (Romans 10:9) Jesus then gives us a roadmap, or GPS to guide us in life. It is the Word of God. Jesus is the way. Follow Him and He will lead you home.
