The DNA of the Spirit is Powerfully Active

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” (1 John 5:4-5)
  Passage: Philippians 2:12-18 

       When you were born, you received half of your DNA from your father and half from your mother. You also were born with a sin nature that is described as the flesh in the Bible. That sin nature is passed on from Adam to every person born in history. It is upside down to the things of God. Satan is our adversary who tempts us and uses that sin nature and the things of this world to try to distract, damage and destroy lives and keep people from experiencing God’s best.
       The only way to win victory over Satan and the things of this world is through the power of the Holy Spirit. When you put your trust in Jesus, you became an overcomer eternally, for Satan cannot prevent you, or any true believer from going to heaven. However, what he can do is try to prevent you from being effective for Christ and helping lead others to know Him. The secret of effective Christian living is to let the Spirit of Christ lead you. He is greater and more powerful than Satan and His power is activated in you when you walk by faith and not by feelings. You are not on your own in this worldly, spiritual battle. God is for you and through Him, you will overcome!
