Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately through he knew only the baptism of John. He Gregan to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.” (Acts 18:24-26)
  Passage: 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Aquila and Priscilla were Kingdom partners in every way. They supported those who were called into vocational service, along with those in their local church with their friendship and their finances through their stewardship. They also were partners by being good students of God’s Word. While they were living in Ephesus, a brilliant man named Apollos came to the city and began speaking about the Messiah who was to come. They took Apollos to their home and shared with him the good news that Jesus was the Messiah. Apollos received that news gladly and God used him to spread the gospel even more.
God gave us the Bible so we might know Him more, know how He designed for us to live and for us to share it with others. Through personal time and small group study, you can gain deeper knowledge of His Word and help others grow as well. You never know how someone you share the Word with will end up being used in God’s Kingdom. It may be another Apollos.
