Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He is risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.” (Matthew 28:5-6)
  Passage: Revelation 22:17-21

My favorite word in the Bible is “grace”. Grace is God’s kindness and favor poured out freely, without merit, on anyone who put his/her faith in Jesus. Grace is His power freely given to enable us to do God’s will. Everything we have from our salvation to our supply, is a gift of God’s grace. I love the word grace.
God gives grace and His grace is amazing, but I think God’s favorite word may be “come”. God showed that women are as important and equal to men when He let them be the first to see the empty tomb. They saw that nothing is impossible with God and they heard the angel say Jesus is risen. Then they heard the word, “come”. Come is a word of invitation. The angel spoke it to invite the women to see for themselves that the Jesus was alive. Jesus spoke it when He said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) The invitation is in the final chapter of Revelation when it says, “The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ Whoever is thirsty, let him come;’ ” (Rev. 22:17) Thank God for His invitation to come to Jesus and be part of His forever family.
