Nothing is Impossible for God

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.” (Matthew 28:2-4)
      Passage: Acts 2:22-41

        On Saturday morning, after Jesus was crucified and buried, the Pharisees went to Pilate and asked him to seal up the stone in front of the tomb and put a guard of soldiers at the tomb to prevent the disciples from coming to steal Jesus’ body. That stone weighed around 2 tons, and the guard was an elite group of soldiers who were fearless, trained fighting men. The disciples were too afraid to even think about stealing Jesus’ body and even if they did think about it, it would have been impossible for them to do it. The women’s love for Jesus overrode their fear, but their main concern was wondering who they could convince to help move the stone, because it was impossible for them to move it.
       They didn’t need to worry. God has sent an angel, who not only caused the bravest warriors in the world to freeze up in fear, but he also rolled the stone away as if it were a feather. The stone and empty tomb stand as a testimony that nothing is impossible with God. He can change any life. He can move any obstacle. He can solve any problem. The power that raised Jesus from the dead and moved the stone is available for you. God will help you.
