Jesus is Coming Again - Are You Ready?

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “At that time you will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And He will send His angels and gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens. . .. , when you see these things happen, you know that it is near, right at the door.” (Mark 13:26-27)
      Passage: Matthew 25:14-30

        I was a class officer in my Senior year of High School and one of our assignments was planning the Senior Banquet in the spring before graduation. On the day of the banquet, I went early to help get things set up at the hotel ballroom, which was about 15-20 minutes away from my home. I knew I wouldn’t have time to go home after decorating, so I took everything I needed with me. I had my tickets. I had my suit. I had helped decorate. However, when I went to change clothes, I opened the jacket, and discovered that the pants were not on the hangar. I thought I was ready for the banquet. I thought I was ready, but I wasn’t.
        Jesus is coming again. If you have believed in Jesus and received Him as Lord and Savior, you have the ticket for eternal life. (John 1:12) The question then is, are you ready to stand before Him and give an account for the way you have lived as a child of God? On that day of my Senior banquet, I ended up going home and getting my pants. I felt much better afterward and in the same way, I want my life to be ready to see Jesus at any time and hear Him say “well done”. Are you ready?
