Pray – (1/2 minute)

Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” (Mark 11:25)
    Passage: Ephesians 4:17-32

        On earth and in heaven, the most important thing you will have is relationships. Of course, having a relationship with Jesus through faith is the only way anyone will experience heaven, and in heaven all relationships we have with others will be perfected. Here on earth. Not so much. Because of the sin nature in man, relationships on earth will have disagreements, misunderstandings, and hurts. Some will be unintentional. Others will be intentional. Regardless of how a hurt comes, Jesus says that a key for fruitfulness and fulfilling His purposes is to have a forgiving heart toward others.
        Unforgiveness is like a cancer to the Spirit. If it is not dealt with, it will drain energy and cause spiritual dryness and unfruitfulness. Forgiveness is not forgetfulness. God does that, but our minds don’t forget. Forgiveness is determining that you will not hold judgement over the person who hurt you. Turn that over to God and take the attitude of Jesus who said on the cross, “Forgive them, they know not what they do.” Extend forgiveness and be free, fruitful and faithful in Christ.
