   Passage: Psalm 63:1-5

‍ A story is told of a Russian soldier who was sent home and told to go to a military hospital for a minor injury. The hospital was a large, gray, imposing building. When the soldier arrived, he saw two doors. One was marked, “For the slightly wounded”. the second was marked, “For the seriously wounded”. He went in the first and entered a long hall. At the end of the hall, he came to two doors. The first was marked, “For officers”. The second, “For non-officers”. He went in the second and entered a long hall and came to two doors. The first was marked, “For party members”. The second, “For non-party members”. He opened the second and found himself outside in an alley, so he went home. His mother asked, “How did it go?” He replied, “To tell the truth, they didn’t do anything for me, they are really organized!”

God is a God of order and not confusion, but He did not establish His church to be organized, but not do anything for people. He put us He for a purpose, “to glorify Him and work with Him to build His kingdom.” His Kingdom is made up of people and God wants His people to be determined to reach out to people for Jesus. One day, a group of men brought a friend who was paralyzed to a house where Jesus was teaching and healing people. Their determination gives principles God wants us to apply so that it would not be said of us, “They didn’t do anything for me, but they are really organized.”
