Read – (2 1/2 minutes) – “Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel – all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and all whose mouths have not kissed him.” (1 Kings 19:18)    
     Passage: Hebrews 10:19-25

         One symptom of depression is the feeling that one is alone. This is often expressed by withdrawing from relationships. Elijah felt like he was alone. He had stood alone He seemed to forget about Obadiah telling him about hiding 100 prophets from Jezebel, but God let him know there were many more than 100. God told him there were 7000 faithful followers who had not become idol worshipers. He was not alone.
        God designed us for relationship with Him and with others. He established the local church to be a gathering of God’s children in their local communities to help fulfill His purposes in their lives. Just as children need families, believers need church families. You need your church family, and your church family needs you.
