If your child is signed up for camp - please don't forget our parent meeting on Sunday, July 25 at 12:30 p.m. in the fireside room. Please bring all missing information and final payments to this meeting. Call the Children's Office (972-262-7208) if you are unsure of what your child is missing.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Sunday morning Bible study is the primary ongoing program for children's Bible teaching. Classes are provided for children from Babies - 5th grade. Because children are active learners, our experienced teachers provide age-appropriate, Biblically based activities that are both fun and challenging. The classes are age divided and are offered during our 9:30 a.m. meeting time. Units of study include God, Jesus, church, missions, worship, Christian conversion, Christian living, and much more.

Parent/Child Events

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. Every part of TeamKID - Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application and recreation - all connect to teach life lessons to kids.

Preschool TeamKid (ages 4-5) meets in the Children's Building Room 122 each Wednesday from 6:15-7:30 p.m.

Children's TeamKid (grades 1st-5th) meets in the Family Life Center each Wednesday from 6:15-7:30 p.m.

Children's Camp

Camp is for any child that has finished 3rd-5th grade. This year we are returning to Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose, TX for a week of adventure. Children participate in crafts, games, sports, water activities, worship, Bible Study and many other fun activities. This year camp is July 29 - August 2. Registration packets are available NOW and the cost is $175 until May 16, then it goes up. Don't miss early registration. Preschool/ Children's Choir

Beginning Fall 2010, our Children's Choirs will move to Wednesday nights. We will have choir from 5:45-6:30 p.m. Please join us on Wednesday, August 25 for our Kick-off Carnival in the Family Life Center. We will meet all together this night then break into graded choirs the following week.

4-year old and kindergarten choir: Room 221

1st - 2nd Grade choir: Room 225

3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade choir: Room 226

Saddle up for VBS 2010 where kids will be ridin' the range and roundin' up questions like: "What is God's plan for me?" and "How can I be like Jesus?" At the end of the day, they'll discover that God's Word has all the answers. We will focus on James 1:5 which states, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

Come and join us June 14-18 from 6-8:30 p.m. each night. Hope to see you there!

5th Grade Ministries

May 21 and 22 is our 5th grader retreat. We'll meet at the FBC Children's building at 5:30 p.m. and head out to watch the Texas Rangers take on the Chicago Cubs. We'll then come back to church and break off into Bible study groups based on gender. We'll talk about growing up and what God's plan is for us as we enter adolescence.
